There are two moments on the Wheel of the Year where the veil thins so profoundly, it feels as though worlds begin to overlap.

One is Samhain—the descent, the return to the ancestors, the honoring of death and the unseen beyond.

And directly opposite it… is Beltane.

The rising. The blooming. The moment life fully says yes.

If Samhain is the whisper of the underworld, Beltane is the laughter of the unseen realms—the fae, the spirits, the magic that lives just beyond the edges of what we can see.

From Spark to Bloom

We’ve moved through the early initiations of the year.

From the quiet stirrings of Ostara, where seeds first broke through the soil…to now.

Beltane is where the rebirth is complete.

This is not the beginning anymore. This is the full bloom.

The days stretch longer. The nights grow softer. The body begins to open.

This is a portal of aliveness, sensuality, creativity, and expression.

And this year… the astrology is echoing that message loudly.

The Astrology: From Initiation → Embodiment

We’ve just come out of a highly charged season and entered Taurus.

In traditional astrology, Taurus is ruled by Venus the force of attraction, beauty, pleasure, and what we choose to cultivate over time. This is where things become real.

Not imagined. Not initiated. But lived. And layered into this moment is a much bigger shift:

Uranus has moved into Gemini.

While Uranus isn’t one of the seven traditional planets, its movement still acts as a disruptor of patterns especially in the realm of the mind, communication, and perception (all Gemini domains). This transit will stretch across roughly the next 7 years.

Let that land.

Seven years of rewiring how we think, speak, create, and connect.

This is a gesture of reciprocity with the unseen.

3. Move Your Body Dance. Shake. Stretch.

Let your body lead.

Beltane is sensual—not sexualized, but alive. This is about inhabiting yourself again.

4. Spend Time in Nature Sit with the earth. Barefoot if you can.

Let yourself be regulated by something ancient.
