Flower Moon Festival is almost here, and there’s something special about this moment right before we gather, when anticipation starts to build, schedules begin to clear, and we start stepping out of our everyday rhythm and into something more intentional, more alive, more connected.
This isn’t just a festival. It’s a shared field of creativity, movement, music, healing, and expression. And like any good journey, a little preparation can help you arrive more open, more grounded, and more ready to receive everything that’s waiting for you.
What to bring with you
Think of this as your soft packing list, not rigid, just supportive:
1. A water bottle (non-negotiable) Hydration is everything. You’ll be moving, dancing, sitting in workshops, and soaking in a lot of energy. Bring something you love using so you actually want to refill it throughout the day.
2. A yoga mat or blanket Whether you’re dropping into a somatic workshop, lying under the sky, or just needing a soft place to land, having your own space to sit or stretch makes a huge difference.
3. A tote bag or festival bag You’ll want something to carry treasures: crystals, art, snacks, workshop goodies, or things you didn’t know you were going to fall in love with until you saw them.
4. Cash + card for vendors Our makers, artists, and food vendors are bringing their heart into what they offer. Having a bit of cash on hand (plus card) helps you say yes easily and support small creators directly.
5. Food + nourishment awareness There will be amazing food available, but also listen to your body. Bring snacks if you need steady blood sugar, especially if you’re someone who moves through long, full days.
6. Layers + comfort items Weather shifts, energy shifts, temperature shifts. Bring something warm, something light, something that feels like you.
7. Most importantly: good vibes (and nothing forced)You don’t need to arrive “in a perfect state.” Just come as you are. Open, curious, tired, excited, or somewhere in between.
A simple way to prepare your energy before you come
Before you even arrive at the festival, you can start to tune yourself in. Here is a small ritual you can do the night before or the morning of, if you feel called:
Flower Moon Preparation Ritual
Find a quiet moment. Even 5–10 minutes is enough.
Place your hand on your heart and take three slow breaths.
Ask yourself gently:
“What am I ready to release?”
“What am I ready to receive?”
Write down whatever comes through, no editing, no overthinking.
Fold the paper and place it somewhere meaningful (or tear it up and release it if that feels right).
Say out loud:
“I arrive open. I arrive present. I allow myself to be moved by what is real.”
You don’t have to do anything more than that. The intention itself begins to shift how you move through the experience.
A note on the day itself
Let yourself wander. Let yourself pause. Let yourself say yes when something calls to you, and no when you need rest. The magic of Flower Moon isn’t in doing everything, it’s in actually feeling what you do.
There will be workshops, music, art, movement, conversations, food, and moments you can’t plan for, but can only meet when you’re present enough to notice them.
Get your tickets
If you haven’t grabbed your ticket yet, now is the time to step in:
We’re so close now. The field is already forming. The people are already arriving in energy before they arrive in body. All that’s left is for you to show up and meet it.
See you under the Flower Moon.
