Full Moon in Scorpio | Rooted Release & Sacred Rebirth

Full Moon in Scorpio | Rooted Release & Sacred Rebirth

🌕 Full Moon in Scorpio | Rooted Release & Sacred Rebirth

There’s a deep exhale rising with this full moon.

As the moon swells in Scorpio’s waters during the earthy embrace of Taurus season, we’re being asked to both feel it all and stay rooted. This is not a time to bypass. This is a time to surrender to the sacred cycle of release and renewal.

Taurus, ruled by Venus, teaches us to ground, to cherish the tangible beauty of life — to savor, to steady, to soften. Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, reminds us that transformation often comes through the underworld — through truth, shadow, grief, death, and rebirth.

Together, they bring an invitation:

What are you ready to let go of — so you can fully land in your body, your power, your life?

This full moon may stir old patterns, fears, and desires to the surface. Let them rise. Let them teach you. And then, lovingly, let them go.

🌑 Scorpio Full Moon Ritual: Earth + Water Release

You will need:

  • A candle

  • A small bowl of water

  • A stone or crystal (obsidian, black tourmaline, or rose quartz work beautifully)

  • Pen + paper

Step 1: Set the Space Light the candle. Place the water in front of you. Hold your stone in your hand.

Step 2: Breathe + Feel Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Visualize roots growing from your body into the Earth. Anchor into Taurus’ grounded strength. Now imagine the waters of Scorpio rising to cleanse what’s ready to leave.

Step 3: Write + Release On paper, write down what you’re ready to release. Fears, limiting beliefs, grief, regrets — let it pour out without judgment.

Step 4: Speak It Read what you wrote aloud. Speak it into the bowl of water, as if you’re offering it up to be alchemized.

Step 5: Let it Go Tear or burn the paper (safely). Pour the water into the earth, or into your sink with gratitude. Hold your stone and say:

I honor the death before the rebirth. I trust in the beauty of becoming.

🌀 Journal Prompts

  1. What am I afraid to let go of — and what might open if I do?

  2. Where in my life am I being called to soften? Where am I being called to rise?

  3. How can I invite more beauty and stability into my daily life?

  4. What truth have I been avoiding? How would it feel to face it with compassion?

  5. What does rebirth look like for me right now?

🌺 Embodied Practices for This Moon

  • Take a salt bath or shower to cleanse energetic residue.

  • Walk barefoot on the earth and speak a release into the soil.

  • Create a simple altar with flowers, water, and a candle to honor your transformation.

  • Move your body intuitively to music that mirrors what you’re feeling — sensual, primal, soft.

This moon is a mirror. It’s showing you what you’ve outgrown — and where your next becoming begins.

Let the depth of Scorpio guide you into truth.Let the steadiness of Taurus hold you as you release.

You are not breaking down. You are breaking open.
